Viola Hill

Viola Hill, 95, of Webster City, formerly of Dows died at Van Diest Medical Clinic on December 19, 2019. Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 10:45 AM at Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com) on December 28, 2019, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM.

Viola was born on March 24, 1924, in Mounds, OK to Fred and Maude Heim. She was united in marriage to Francis Hill, to this union two children were born. The couple farmed Southwest of Dows until his death in 1963.

Viola worked many years at the Clarion Hospital until her retirement at the age of 84. She loved spending time with her family and friends, she also had an extreme love for all animals. Viola was a member of the United Methodist Church of Dows.

Viola’s family includes her daughter Diane (Kenny) Ingraham of Webster City; grandchildren: Randy Ingraham of Webster City, Teresa (Cody) Kasch of Okoboji, Tanya (Kevin) Hotz of Florida, and Kristy Hill-Ganskey of Oregon; great-grandchildren: Mason Ingraham, Colby Austin and Taylor Kasch, Travis, Trevor and Bri Hotz, Susanne, Natayah, and Destiny Edwards, and Sean Michael Hill; great-great-granddaughter Topanga; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Francis Hill; son Marion Hill; granddaughter Teresa Dawn Hill; parents Fred & Maude Heim; brothers: Lester and Omer Heim; and sisters: Helen, Effie, Ina Mae and Mary.
