Sherri Ewing

Sherri Ewing, 79, of Webster City, died on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Southfield Wellness Community, in Webster City.  Private family services will be held at a later date.  The family has chosen Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com) to care for their needs.

Sherri was born on February 18, 1944, in Fort Dodge, Iowa to Harley and Maxine (Perry) Spencer.  She was united in marriage to Robert Ewing on December 29, 1960, in Fort Dodge, Iowa.  She worked as a dispatcher for the Webster City Police Department before moving to Missouri, where she worked as a convenience store clerk for many years.  When she wasn’t working Sheri liked to fix meals for the Blue Angel Pilots.  Sherri’s family was very important to her, and she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.

Sherri’s family includes her children: Robert Ewing of Fort Dodge, IA, Sue Romp of Pilot Mound, IA, Doug (Robin) Ewing of Duncombe, IA, and Craig (Darla) Ewing of Webster City, IA; 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1979; son Matt; and two grandsons.
