Norman Barth, 83, of Kamrar, died August 25, 2019, at the Southfield Wellness Community in Webster City. The family has chosen Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com) to care for their needs.
Norman was born September 22, 1935, at Kamrar, Iowa, son of Abel and Dena (Naber) Barth. He graduated from Kamrar High School in 1953 and served in the Army Reserve, receiving his basic training at Ft. Hood, Texas. He was a lifelong farmer, living on the family farm southeast of Kamrar basically his entire life. He was a member of the Community Church of Kamrar, where he shared his deep faith in Bible Studies and with others. Norman was a member of the Kamrar Lions Club.
Norman was preceded in death by his parents and a host of other family members and friends, whom he always enjoyed caring for and visiting whether it was at their homes or at the nursing homes. He enjoyed socializing in his own humble, kind, faithful, and quiet way at early morning breakfasts, get-togethers at Otho, and support or service groups in the community.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 27, at 10:30 A.M. at the First Presbyterian Church Cemetery of Kamrar, Iowa.
