Nancy J. Wiener

Nancy Jane Wiener, 71, of Webster City, died Monday April 18, 2011 at the Van Diest Medical Center in Webster City.
The daughter of Orville & Jennie (Layton) Elsberry, she was born June 6, 1939 in Boone, IA.  Nan attended school in Lehigh, IA.  She and Delmar “Buzz” were married in Princeton, MO on May 12, 1962.  The couple lived in Webster City their entire married life.  Nan worked as a home health care provider.  She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren.  Family was always welcome at her home. Nan enjoyed cook outs with her extended family.
Her family includes husband Buzz of 49 years, daughter Lona Culver of Webster City, two grandchildren Justin Culver of Iowa Falls & Ashley Culver of Webster City, one great granddaughter Madison Culver, three sisters Norma (Robert) Strunk of Fort Dodge, Karen Strunk of Bella-Vista, AK & Sylvia Ann (Martin) Strom of Council Bluffs, step-son Randy (Debbie) Weienr of Clearwater, FL, two step-grandsons Randy Joe & Jeremy & special nieces & nephews.  Preceding her in death are her parents, sister Lola, three brothers Dean, Gary & Norm.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Boman Funeral Home in Webster City with Rev. Linda Bibb officiating.  Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery south of Lehigh.  Visitation will be from noon until the time of the service.
