Monte Lee Krieger, Jr.

Monte Krieger, 53 of Kamrar, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. Visitation will be on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Boman Funeral Home in Webster City from 1:30 – 2:45 PM followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM. The family has chosen Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com) to care for their needs.

 Monte was born on March 23, 1971, to Monte Sr and Linda (Williams) Krieger. He was educated at Northeast Hamilton graduating with the “Class of 1989”. He attended Iowa Central Community College in the Electrical Program and Truck Driving School. 

 On September 23, 1991, he married Joni Nelson in Webster City, Iowa. The couple raised their two children, Jesse Andrew and Ethan Timothy, in Kamrar. 

 Monte worked at Van Diest Supply Company in Webster City as a driver. He enjoyed motorcycle rides, kayaking, trips with his wife, and spending time with his grandson. He was known to always have a smile on his face and willing to help others.

 Monte’s family includes his wife of 33 years, Joni Krieger; son, Ethan (Natasha) Krieger; grandson, Miles; parents, Monte Sr and Linda Krieger; sisters, Tina Anderson (Jon) of Webster City and Shannon Phillips (John) of Georgia; nieces and nephews: Avarie (Gunnar) Bestenlehner, Harrison Groves, Evers Anderson, Mason Lovelace, Lauren Phillips and Jaydyn Phillips; great nephews: Orion and Atticus and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his son, Jesse Andrew Krieger.
