Laura J. Orr

Laura J. Orr, 57, of Webster City, died on March 19, 2019, at the Van Diest Medical Center in Webster City. The family will receive friends and relatives on Monday, March 25, 2019, at Faith United Methodist Church from 12:00 – 1:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 1:30 PM. Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com) is in charge of arrangements.

Lori was born on November 10, 1961, in Webster City, to John and Dorothy (Dickman) Christenson. She attended the Webster City Schools graduating from the high school in 1980. Lori delivered papers for the Daily Freeman Journal and the Ft. Dodge Messengers for many years.

Lori enjoyed collecting cat figurines, and clothing. She also made many latch hook creations, watched movies and like to do word searches and crosswords puzzles. Lori especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a member and of Faith United Methodist Church, where she was a faithful attendee of services and Sunday School, she also helped with Daily Vacation Bible School.

Lori’s family includes her son Dan of Millvale, PA; father and stepmother: John & Sharon of Webster City; brother: Alan (Tennie) Christenson of Stillwater OK; three nieces, one nephew; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, grandparents, and two uncles.
