Lanita Hinderks

Lanita Hinderks, 83, of Woolstock, Iowa passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at Crestview Senior Living, in Webster City.  Visitation will be at Calvary Baptist Church in Webster City, on Saturday, December 16, 2023, from 10:00-10:45 AM, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM with pastor Terry Davenport officiating.  The family has chosen Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com) to care for their needs.

Lanita Hinderks, daughter of Noble and Cora Weir, was born on November 28, 1940, in Clarion, Iowa.  She graduated from Clarion High School in 1958.  On June 11, 1959, she was united in marriage to Eldon Hinderks in Webster City.  She worked various jobs and was a stay-at-home farm wife and mom.  She was saved at an early age and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Webster City.

Lanita’s family includes her sons and daughters-in-law:  Bruce and Mary Jane Hinderks of Woolstock, Iowa and Craig Hinderks and Sheri Sell of Golden Valley, Minnesota; grandchildren:  Christopher, Caleb and Jack Hinderks; sisters-in-law:  Karen Hinderks and Ruth Hinderks both of Webster City, and Lorraine Hinderks of Jewell; several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Eldon Hinderks; sister Mary Rasmussen and brother-in-law Orval Rasmussen; brothers-in-law Dennis, Leo, Arvin, Merrill and Kenny Hinderks; and sister-in-law Doris Hinderks.  Memorials may be given to the Calvary Baptist Church
