Karen Cross

Karen Kay Cross, 82, of Webster City, Iowa, died on Monday, May 6, 2024, at the Paula Baber Hospice Home in Ft. Dodge Iowa.  A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, May 10, 2024, at the Faith United Methodist Church in Webster City, IA.  The family has chosen Boman Funeral Home (www.Bomanfh.com) to care for their needs.

Karen was born on June 27, 1941, in Waukesha, WI. To Verne and Blanche Hanson.  She married Ronald Cross on December 21, 1959.  Karen and Ronald enjoyed line dancing all over the Midwest.  She also enjoyed puzzles, playing card games and watching game shows.  Karen was a member of Faith United Methodist Church where she made quilts with other church ladies and sang in the choir.

Karen’s family includes her children: Randy (Brandi) Cross of Webster City and Richard (Precy) Cross of the Philippines and Suzie Zimmerman of Hampton, Iowa; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren; sister Bonnie Weeks of St. Louis MO.  She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter Lori Culpepper.
