Barbara Wing-Williams

Barbara Wing-Williams, 84 formerly of Stanhope, Iowa, died on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. Memorial Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 PM, on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com) in Webster City, IA.

 Barb was born December 29, 1939, to George and Vi (Gazaway) Baer of rural Marshalltown. She married Gary Wing on June 22, 1958, and the couple had two children. Gary passed away on December 9, 2010. On September 15, 2012, she married Keith Williams.

 Barb enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, and traveling. She taught Sunday School and was a leader for Girl Scouts and Brownies. She also enjoyed many adventures with her Red Hat Ladies, hosting her annual 4th of July pool party for family, and traveling with Keith later in life

 Barb’s family includes her husband Keith Williams; children: Lorrie (Tom) Ludwig of Ankeny, Iowa, and Ann (Chad) Vogelbacher of Webster City, Iowa; grandchildren: Sean Vogelbacher and Sarah (Dylan) Steen; several nieces and nephews; and Keith’s children: Tom (Kathy) Williams, Terri (Denny) Mortvedt and Julie (Rich) Anderson. She was preceded in death by her siblings Jack Beehrle, Joan Anderson, and George Baer. Barb chose to donate her body to the University of Iowa College of Medicine.
